My only complaint about the second one is that you have a very slight arc in the brushstrokes for the water. It is very slight, but a little distracting. It may be possible to fix it though. And maybe that one could use some reflections in the water too?Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00231453420718519162noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-514699531408935998.post-20187575946546319222011-10-11T09:13:19.637-04:002011-10-11T09:13:19.637-04:00Thanks for the recipe. I tried it last year and it was delicious and, since they're saying the weather should be cooling off in the next few days, I'll look forward to revisiting the recipe! Good luck to your husband tomorrow and I hope he has a speedy recovery. As for the watercolors, I always love trees in a landscape so that's my favorite!Sandy in Michiganhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16377074282501697667noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-514699531408935998.post-18032413341879552942011-10-10T14:09:26.964-04:002011-10-10T14:09:26.964-04:00I like the one with the trees reflected in the wat...I like the one with the trees reflected in the water. Sketching will help things go smoother. :) I like the top watercolor sketch with the trees reflecting in the water the best. The hazy purple trees in the background are great - not overworked, diffused but still defined - nicely muted. The water has a nice rippled look. What kind of watercolor paper do you use?Made.by.Fayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03149905514135828492noreply@blogger.com
