Something I need to remind myself of because I tend to forget. Playing with are tools is very important. Everything doesn't have to be a finished or marketable product to be good and make us happy.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-514699531408935998.post-8930256089198216602010-12-20T16:28:41.117-05:002010-12-20T16:28:41.117-05:00I usually exaggerate one direction when I do blind...I usually exaggerate one direction when I do blind contours. Sometimes I've moved too fast on the vertical, and sometimes on the horizontal. Resulting in something that looks 'almost' like it but not quite as it is too wide or too long! So, yes, this looks very familiar to me! :D I think you've done a great job on them!

I think the watercolor looks just fine, especially with the lines.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00231453420718519162noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-514699531408935998.post-38872232687182806902010-12-18T22:11:38.213-05:002010-12-18T22:11:38.213-05:00Wow, seems great fun, I need to try blind contouri...Wow, seems great fun, I need to try blind contouring too. Isn't it funny how you think you've nailed the contour and then you look at the drawing and...well...hmmm! It's the process! And you're doing it right! How did it feel to do the next foot right away? I'm with B @ Sweet Limes; I think your watercolor is fine the way it is. It's poetic!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-514699531408935998.post-41323980108835587502010-12-17T21:00:47.899-05:002010-12-17T21:00:47.899-05:00Feet are fairly tricky for me.
