30 in 30 Day 30

I'm a little late with this, but for what it is worth, here is my last offering for the 30 in 30 challenge. It is not really a painting, but a pen sketch.

Began the day with a sore throat and a long walk on the beach. The sore throat is still here, but not too bad. It is the hubster's birthday today and we are going with my sister and her husband to Flounder's for dinner. It should be a good time, if it is not too busy. This place is really slow this time except for weekends. And today was the Double Bridge Run so it is busier than usual.

It is in the low 60s and sunny and peaceful. I feel so blessed to be able to have this month of rest and rejuvenation. I continue to do my therapy exercises and am improving my range of motion. My hand is still not itself (the doctor says it could take as long as a year) and I still experience almost constant pain, but for the most part it is tolerable. I am keeping busy and keeping a positive attitude for I realize that no matter how awful this feels to me there are many others much worse off than I am. So I count my blessings and persevere.

I am hoping to put together a collage of my 30 offerings in this challenge and will share it with you when I have it done.

xoxo
