I'll start with the good, and I must say I am fortunate that I have lots of good in my life. I was able to get all the 2-page spreads done for the collaborative exchange I am participating in and get them into padded envelopes and addressed and I got the paper napkins ready to be mailed for a swap. The really good part was that the hubster was going out and agreed to go to the post office for me. He is really good! The bad part is that I forgot to get pictures of these pages. Hopefully the recipients will post pix and I can show them to you then.
Mail art is also good and I received this lovely card from my dear friend, Nancy, yesterday.
And today I received this lovely card from my Mom for my birthday. She assures me that I don't look a bit older than I did 10 days ago when she was visiting me. Can you tell she knows I like birds?
I have a couple of sketches also. First of all this little owlet:
And secondly this man (this is the ugly part) who just happened upon the page when I was writing the word Frog. I began the stylized F and realized it was a nose, so without much planning I added the rest of the face and he was born (for whatever that is worth).
That is all I have for today. It is absolutely freezing here today. The sun is shining but the wind is making it feel like -2 today. I am hoping for better weather soon.
