But now I am on (and I don't know for how long it will last) and I would like to share a couple of ink sketches I did using a couple of Rubens' as my model.
So, I began this short post at 3:15 and it is now 4:23. I'd say my connection is about the speed of grass growing. What do you think? Well, now it is 4:26 and I've tried to publish several times, but no luck.
I'd best just sign off and see if I can actually publish this and then I need to get in the shower. Miss M and Miss P have their performances at the Potter Center this evening. Fun, fun!!
xoxo
well its beautiful sketching, sorry about the connection, the internet sometimes brings more pain than pleasure,! have a wonderful evening,
ReplyDeleteHope you get up to speed soon - how frustrating for you. At least you had the performance to look forward to and I hope it was a great success enjoyed by all.
ReplyDeleteI feel your pain! These are really good .... I especially like the man. Well done! hugs, nancy
ReplyDeleteVicki, sorry about the connection. Thanks for braving the slow speeds to post these. Your work reminds me to try using the masters as inspiration.
ReplyDeleteRegarding internet access, I had AT&T for cell phone use and since the access was less than desirable at our house, we never tried them for internet connectivity. Even though we live in a suburb of L.A., we have no cable, fios, or DSL access. What ended up working wonderfully for us is Clear, cellular internet access. Our neighbor got Hughes satellite, with poor results--maybe because of trees blocking the signal. My husband, tired of my complaints, searched and found Clear and read the good reviews. I've had this service for a couple of years, now, with very fast access and have nothing but praise for them. Depending on their presence in your neighborhood, this might be an option for you. Good luck!
Great sketches....I have a very slow connection so I know how you feel!
ReplyDeletegreat portraits, love the dude.
