I have been spending a lot of time late at night (early in the am) watching the Australian Open. I watched two real knuckle biters yesterday - Dinara Safina vs Alize Cornet and Tommy Burdych vs Roger Federer. Dinara Safina was finally victorious after facing match point and Roger Federer was victorious after being down 2 sets to zero and down 2-5. I finally went to bed at 3:30 AM.
I am hoping that Safina will take the women's single championship and that Andy Murray will take the men's. Of course Serena is planning to take the women's and Rafa, Federer, and Djokovic are all planning to win the men's, so who knows.
The birthday party was fun, but I couldn't have the pizza (severely lactose intolerant) so when I got home I had some leftover chipotle chicken from last night's dinner. Right now, the hubster is making salmon and baked sweet potato fries with a lovely green salad. I am getting hungry.
I decided that if I am going to spend so much time watching tennis, I should do a sketch of something having to do with it. So here is my two page spread of a tennis racket and a couple of tennis balls with a little bit of journaling.
Until next time, don't forget to live in the moment!
Aha, you did decide to do a tennis racquet and ball. Great job!
