When I made my Mom a card for Mothers' Day, my sister (the one that I am going to visit on Monday) said she would like to have one. I knew I wanted to do a bird again - in fact I decided to do a Mama bird and a baby bird, but this time I used a "found" poem for the inside and then drew the birds based on that.
Here is the inside:
And here is the front with the birds trying for balance:
I sure hope she likes it.
Bye!
I am sure she will like it. It seams that, to me anyway, a hand made card is always more enjoyable than a bought one. Perhaps it is because the giver spent a bit more time thinking about what to make and then a bit more time to make it. I like your take on the balance of nature very cute and a very nice design. Great job!
ReplyDeleteThat's great! Isn't it nice to be able to give hand painted cards? I have just finished a 'card' for my grandson, who will be five in July. I can't post it yet as his sister looks at my blog and may not be able to resist telling him!
ReplyDeleteOh yes, she'll love it, I'm sure! The birds are very sweet, and I love the balancing act! Well done! hugs, nancy
