Animal Combos

Miss 8 checked a book out of the library at school called 365 Art & Craft Activities by Rita Hoppert so that she and I could do some art together.

Today we decided to do a project called Animal Combos. We found some animals in a book I have and used a light box that belongs to my good friend Nancy and traced parts of two animals to make a new more interesting animal.

Here is hers:

She named it a fosh. It is a fox and a fish.

And here is mine. It is a combination of a Mule Deer and a Barking Tree Frog:

I call it a Barking Mule Freer.

I am so lucky to have a granddaughter like Miss 8 living close enough to spend time with and do art projects together.

I hope you like our animal combos and I hope to "see" you again next week.

xoxo
