Back to Collage

My son was out Saturday morning to do some of his Algebra homework together and he brought his daughter with him. His class meets from 2 pm to 6 pm, so we kept her with us until after class. She loves to do art, so we retired to my art room and went through magazines finding interesting parts of women to put together to make new ones. It was big fun! She's 5 3/4 (according to her). She will be six in early September. She did the one on the left and was pretty serious about finding parts that were approximately to scale. As you can see by mine on the right, that wasn't a big concern of mine.

When class was over, we met him in town and called my daughter and we all went to the Oak Tree Lounge for dinner. She brought her almost 2 year old with her. It was really fun. We need to do that more often. The only child missing was the daughter's 6 year old who was out of town with her Dad.

I've been to the dentist this morning for a cleaning and x-rays. I love how my teeth feel when she is done. Just finished up a late breakfast of fried eggs over brown eggs. Yum! One of my favorites.

Time to get on with my day - I plan to play in my art room for hours.

See you tomorrow.....

  3. Have you been rummaging in my closet? That one on the right looks like she's wearing my clothes ...not the ones mikey picked out. You had a wonderful day, full of fun and family. What could be better? hugs, nancy

  5. Sounds like a lovely day! So funny how kids love to record the halves and quarters of a year that they are. Too cute. :-)
