Stamp Making and Art Journal

Did you see that moon last evening? I'll bet it will be as lovely tonight. Actually, according to one of the announcers at the US Open last evening, the moon will not actually be considered full until tonight. And speaking of the US Open, did you catch that spectacular second round match between V. Williams and A. Kerber? Maybe the best women's tennis match I've ever watched. Definitely glad I stayed up to watch it to the end.

I put some finishing touches on the houses pages I was working on and am happy with them, especially the white gel pen journaling.

And my order from Nasco arrived and I carved a couple of stamps. I think I am getting better at it.

Another busy day planned.  The conditioning class is having a floor session for core training afterward this morning. Then I will stop at Pregitzer's to pick up my produce. I need to get to Mason some time today to make a deposit to my bank account, and then have a chiropractic appointment in Stockbridge late this afternoon. I hope to see immediate results from my adjustment. One or both of us needs to get to a store to pick up supplies for the cookout we are having on Sunday. Both kids are coming and bringing their kids.

For now I am going to get a second mug of coffee and read the blogs to which I subscribe. What are you doing today? Does it include some "me" time? Do you have plans for the big weekend? Are you going to find time to do something arty? Do share.....

Baby Face Sketch and Art Journal Page

I tried to capture that baby face that I showed you yesterday and almost got it. It is so difficult to render that childish roundness and I find it impossible to actually get a likeness. This is what I have so far.

Miss Z arrived yesterday afternoon and my evening was quite busy. The hubster (Papa) was playing tennis so I had her to myself. She appeared to be tired at her usual bed time of 7:30 pm, but wouldn't settle so I got her up. She lasted until almost 9 pm. It was kind of nice since she got to see Papa when he got home. She was up when I got up this morning, so I changed her and fed her and then we watched Yo Gabba Gabba for a bit then played with the baby apps I have on my iPad. Right now she is outside walking the yard with Papa, which gives me this little window of time to post.

Yesterday afternoon before Miss Z arrived I began another two page spread in my art journal. I began with gesso and some red and blue acrylic paint. When that had dried, I cut our house shapes from a circular from a local clothing store. And then decided that a row of houses wouldn't be complete without the kind of house the old woman lived in (shoe - boot?). It isn't done yet, but I haven't decided what else I am going to do. I think some white gel pen journaling might be a nice touch.

I only have the baby for one overnight this time, so she will be collected some time mid afternoon and then I will try to get more time in the art room. I do have to go to Mason some time today to deposit a check into my account and the hubster wants to take some shabby chic mirrors to his booth at the Maple Street Mall. Maybe we will catch a bite out for dinner instead of cooking. I think I will thaw out some chorizo and make some soup tomorrow. We are having the kids and grandgirls over for a cookout this weekend and I think the soup may be a hit as a side with the burgers and brats we are planning to feature.

I am expecting my Nasco Safety Kut to arrive today and will be spending some time making more rubber stamps. I'd like to make a ballerina silhouette and some ballet slippers for starters. I'd like to find more free images to use for stamps. Do you know where to find some?

Do you have plans for the Labor Day weekend? Are you spending time with family and friends? Do you have a tradition for this celebration? Are you going to find time to be creative (I mean besides cooking and visiting)? I hope you do and that you are willing to share....

Where Does the Time Go

As I was mentally preparing this post, I was thinking, "I didn't get much done again yesterday", but then realized that I got a lot done yesterday, I just don't have a lot to show for it.

I began my day by posting and then reading the blogs to which I subscribe in Reader. After a quick breakfast - one of my favorites - wheat toast with peanut butter - I took a shower and then headed out to the dealership to have my oil changed. From there, I stopped at a store to get some eye drops (my eyes have been itchy and dripping for about a week) and then grabbed a large black coffee for my daughter at the McDonald's drive thru. I spent several hours at her house visiting and helping pick up. When I got home I was starved so had a quick lunch and then picked up a bit in the art room. It still needs at least a couple of hours dedicated to it, but I've gotten started. I went to a Pilates class last evening - whew! I am a bit sore and tight in the shoulders this morning. By the time I got home from my class it was dark and the Tigers were on. I sat with a cold pack on the back of my neck and upper shoulders and then worked crossword puzzles while watching to the bitter end. They lost in the 9th inning.

Here is a quick sketch of a couple of Pilates poses.

And in answer to the queries I've received about Yo Gabba Gabba, it is a show on Nick Jr. featuring a funky looking DJ who brings out a boom box suitcase full of creatures that come to life. Here they are:

And here she is enjoying it again.

And here is her "What do you mean I can't watch this show all day long?" face

I just couldn't end the post with that face, so thought I'd share one that I'd like to use as a model to sketch a baby face.

Much nicer.

I am planning to go to my conditioning class this morning, but will use either a red or yellow cord rather than the blue and purple. I don't so much want a hard workout as I want a good stretch and some movement. Miss Z is due to arrive this afternoon and I don't know yet whether she is staying for one overnight or two. I'd like to go to the life drawing class tomorrow, but won't be able to decide until I know how long I have Zoë.

I do hope to get some play time in my art room between the end of my workout and Miss Z's arrival. I will share with you tomorrow. Meanwhile, I gotta ask,  What are you doing today? Does it include some kind of creativity? Are you painting, drawing, cooking, gardening? Do share...

Art Journal, Still Life, and Quick Sketches

It was wonderful to be back at the conditioning class yesterday morning. It is funny how I miss my routines when I go away for awhile. I'm a bit sore and tight this morning, but don't know how much of it is due to the conditioning class and how much is from my yoga class last evening. I am planning to try Pilates this evening and hope it is all I hope it is. My core definitely needs a good workout.

I did spend some time in my art room yesterday and am pleased with some of what I accomplished and not so much with others. I was planning to do some value studies in contemplation of a new watercolor, but then decided to go with a still life of pears. My thought was that I couldn't mess up with pears - not so. I am not at all pleased with how these turned out.

My friend, Nancy, mentioned that she was working on a portrait when I saw her yesterday, and it made me realize that I haven't done anything with faces in a long time. I found a couple of photos from our visit to the beach earlier in August and tried one and then did a quick sketch of the girls at play on the water's edge.

I also spent some time in my art journal. There is something so freeing about this. I don't have to think too much - just grab the gesso, a bit of paint, wasi tape, stamps, gel medium, and play.

I think this one is way too light and may go in with some pen and do some writing before I call it done.

It was so fun to grab a Neocolor crayon and make a pear that I could really like.

Today I am going to go into town and get an oil change in my car, then pick up some coffee and head over to my daughter's for a short visit. I should have lots of time this afternoon to work on some art and may actually make a landscape in watercolor as I was planning to do yesterday. I do have to remember that the US Open has started and find some time to watch a bit of tennis. Maybe I will try sketching some of the players.

What about you? What do you have planned for the day? Are you watching tennis? Are you finding time to play a bit and is your muse cooperating? Do tell.......

Art Journaling and Family

Miss K and I had a lovely 2+ days at my Mom's and were able to visit lots of family. She even got to feed the pigs and gather eggs at Maggie and Jeff's and is anxious for the next visit. The trip home was uneventful and when we arrived it wasn't long before my son arrived to pick up Miss K and drop off Miss Z. We had her for two overnights and she is such a changed little person. We used to marvel that she was always happy and took everything in stride. We never saw her cry. All that has changed! She is addicted to Yo Gabba Gabba and asks for it a hundred times a day and while sometimes I will put it on (I've recorded it), a couple of times is enough. She pitched such an awful fit that I put her in the Pack N Play for about 3 minutes and let her cry. She is just 18 months, but I think the "terrible 2s" has reared its ugly head. Here she is watching and dancing.

I did find just a little time while Miss Z was napping or in bed for the night to play in my art journal. Here are a few pages in progress.

My eyes have been running awfully since my visit up north. I don't know if it is allergies? but it is awful and I am tired of it.

I will go to my conditioning class this morning and then go back to the yoga class at 7 this evening. I was sore for two days from the last time at yoga and can't wait to go back. I am hoping to try the Pilates class at the same place tomorrow evening.

I am hoping to begin a new watercolor today, but have to have a plan this time. I think I will do some value sketches first and then get a drawing down before jumping in.

What do you have planned for the day? Does it include time to be creative? Do you have something to share? I'd love to see it...

Busy, But Fruitless Day

I'm not sure how yesterday got away from me. I went to my conditioning class and it was great, but after that somehow the day got away from me. Oh, yes, now I remember some of it. I had purchased a rotisserie chicken the day before and decided that I wanted to make some soup. Now that is not so awfully hot, soup appeals to me. I tried making a chicken and lentil soup based on one I found online at food.com. I took most of the meat from the carcass and then put a bit of water over the bones to make myself a bit of chicken stock. I don't put veggies in the stock at this point, I just let the water simmer over the bones. While that was working, I sauteed onion, carrot, celery and mushrooms in butter. I then removed the bones from the stock and added the veggies. I let those simmer for about half an hour and then added half a cup of lentils along with some thyme and a bay leaf. About 45 minutes later I had a wonderful soup. I thought my chorizo soup was my favorite, but I made have found a new one. I must making homemade soup does take up a chunk of time.

In the afternoon I went to a Friends of the Library meeting which was quite enjoyable except for the fact that when you are planning for Fall to Christmas, it makes it seem so much closer in the future. There are some really fun people in this group and we get a lot done at our little branch.

The last "appointment" of my day was a yoga class at the new chiropractic office in Stockbridge. It was a great experience, but I didn't know yoga was so much work. Wow! I am so looking forward to the next time. They also offer pilates classes and I am going to try that as well. I won't be able to go back until next week as Miss K and I are leaving tomorrow morning to drive up to the far north to visit my Mom. It will be nice to have some one on one time with her before she starts school next week.

Here is a photo of where we are headed.

And here are a couple of pix from the yard. Can you believe these volunteer sunflowers? They actually came up around the light pole as though it was planned that way.

I have been working in my altered book/art journal. Mostly using up old acrylic paint and playing with texture making tools and gesso.

I am hoping to spend some time in the art room today as I don't get much time to do art when I am up north visiting. I will try to bring home some pix, though. I probably won't be posting from Mom's, but will be reading your blogs. I don't know if I will be able to leave comments with my iPad, but will certainly try.

What do you have planned for the day? the week? Are you making time for your creative side? Is your muse cooperating? Do tell.....

Stamping and Watercolor WIP

It's been another busy weekend and I feel that I didn't get much done, but I do have a clean house including a seriously weeded out little girls' room and I did the recycling. I also watched a couple of baseball games and a couple of tennis matches. What I still haven't tackled is my art space. I did sweep yesterday to get the little pieces of rubber that fall while I am carving stamps, but there is a much larger monster in the room. There are piles accumulating all around the room and I need to spend some time putting things away some time soon or I will lose myself in here. I am not sure that is going to happen today. I have a full day planned.

I do have a bit of artiness to share with you. I've begun a new watercolor and so far I'm liking it, but it is at the stage where I don't know for sure what to do next and I am a bit afraid that I am going to mess it up. I must remind myself that this is play and that it is just a piece of paper after all. Here is my first layer, the sky.

And here is the next bit.

I am trying to decide what the foreground is going to look like and so took this into Photoshop to look at a couple of ideas. I didn't spend a lot of time trying to make them look good, I just wanted to get an idea of placement of objects. I'd sure like some suggestions. I can't decide whether to make the foreground trees and grass.

Or perhaps a body of water with some trees around it.

Or maybe I should try to put in the scene from Oyeblikk that I sketched the other day.

At this point I am doing nothing because I can't decide which of these I can actually pull off with any degree of reasonableness. I will let that percolate inside myself for a bit as there is no rush to decide and I really would like to hear from you.

I suppose I could opt to just crop it as it is and call it done with just a bit of color added in the hills.

I have a few stamps to share. I am still finding them difficult to get just right, but I do think I am getting better (read - more patient) at it. Here are my latest:

I love the teacup with the steam above it and the bird. The arrow was made on a bit of scrap and the flower is actually just 1/4 of that image (I think you can see how it didn't line up perfectly. It is a tiny scrap that I didn't want to throw away.

It appears that it is going to be another lovely day today. I will be a tad busy. I am going to my conditioning class this morning and then going over to Nancy's for a bit. I can't wait to see Abby (her dog, which my little girls think I am part owner) and spend some non-exercise time with my dear friend. I would like to find a leotard today - I am going to check with Susan Vaughn's School of Dance in Jackson to see what they have), then I have a Friends of the Library meeting followed by a yoga class. I am not sure whether I will get my art space picked up a bit, but I'm hoping to.

What are you up to today? Does it include some time to do some art? Are you planning to share it with me? I'd love to see it. Do please take the time to weigh in on suggestions for my latest watercolor work in progress. I would sincerely appreciate it.

Patterns, Stamps, Photography Blog and A Great Shop

On Wednesday I finally drove to Spring Arbor to check out the Scrapbooking/Stamping/Altered Art Supply store called Altered Art Addict. It looks quite small from the outside, but it is jam packed with product plus a work room. I was impressed with the young lady who was in charge that day. Her name was Katelyn and her Mom and Grandmom are co-owners. Katelyn is a senior in high school and is planning on a career in graphic design. We had a great conversation while she showed me around and shared her love for all things art. I will definitely be going back there, perhaps with the two older grandgirls to pick out some supplies and maybe work a bit in their lovely space. They didn't have the cling foam stuff I was looking for and now I am glad they didn't. I've been convinced that would be a mistake and am looking into alternative methods of stamping with or without actually mounting the handmade stamps. And I am happy and surprised to report that I didn't spend any money on supplies that I don't really need, but what a wonderful store - so much more to offer in their area of expertise than the chain stores.

I have cut a few more stamps, none that I am particularly in love with, but I will share them with you.

As you can see, they need some cleaning up. There are two different sized houses and a small plant that started out as pussy willows, but transformed into a more homogeneous group.

While trying to decide on designs for stamping, I played around with Photoshop and tried my hand at a repeating design and came up with one that I really am pleased with.

It's been a really long time since I've wasted time played with Photoshop in this manner. I've missed it!

I have a new (to me) blog to share with you where the photography is so impressive it took my breath away. It is called Et Oyeblikk and I've been given permission to use her photos as references for my sketches. Here is what I've started with. This is just a quick sketch. In the original photo the sky is so big and beautiful with lots of clouds. I think I need to add some clouds and color to try to capture this better.

And, last but not least, I've finally attempted to add a boat to my watercolor work in progress. I think it is pretty basic and should probably be a darker color. It is more dark brown than the blackish I was hoping for. I do think it offers a bit of balance that was missing, though.

Another busy day planned - conditioning class at 9:30 with a stop at Pregitzer's Farm Market for my biweekly produce; followed by a shower and lunch and then a trip into Jackson to the Red Cross to donate a pint of blood. After that I am meeting up with my daughter and her girls to do a bit of school shopping. I think it will be a great day. I hope to fit in some time for artiness later in the day and/or evening.

What do you have planned for the day? Are you finding time to be creative? Do you have a blog to tell me about? Yours or one that belongs to someone else that you think I would love? Do share.....

Heron AB Spread and Some Stamp Ideas

Zoë is here and is so much fun, but so busy. I haven't spent any time at all in the art room until this morning while she is napping. I found some images online that I thought would make good stamps and have arranged them in Photoshop and printed them out. Sometime later today I will try carving a couple of them. I am especially interested in making a quarter of a repeating image and some long border patterns. I'll share them when I get them made.

Meanwhile, I just added a bit of light blue sky and some dark blue water, along with some green leafy shapes to the heron spread in my altered book/art journal and I rather like it.

I think that while Miss Z is sleeping I need to go get out my yoga mat and some hand weights and get this body moving. Maybe I should have breakfast first, though. Miss Z will be here until about 3 PM, at which time I hope to do some carving. With any luck I will have some new stamps to share with you tomorrow.

When I mentioned the cling foam to attach to the back of my homemade stamps, I got several comments both on the blog and as a separate email. Most people recommended finding a product online and checking for the best price including shipping and handling. I did have a strong recommendation to stay away from those kind of products as they would ruin the stamp making it all gooey. Can I hear from more of you who have used this kind of product on your stamps? I'd really like to hear more before making a decision.

What are you doing today? Does it include some time in your creative zone? Will you share with us?

Missed Opportunities and Stamp Making

Yesterday didn't turn out at all like I was expecting it to. I waited too long to get ready to drive into town to volunteer at the used book store so didn't have a back up plan when I got there only to find the Book Cellar was closed due to construction. It appears that volunteers are not important enough to get a call so they don't drive 25 miles round trip for nothing. If I hadn't been rushed, I would have packed my camera and/or my iPad. In that case I could have spent some time doing a bit of arty stuff - taking reference photos for future sketches or getting caught up on internet stuff. Instead I stopped by the daughter's for a brief visit and then came home and completely dunned out the laundry room.

The laundry room at my house tends to be the "holding" place for all things without a good home. There was so much stuff in there, I just couldn't stand it any more. Actually I did clean it out once before (not quite as thoroughly as this time), but somehow the stuff to be given away or thrown away found its way back in there. This time it is going to stay this streamlined. It actually looks like a nice room now. I need to go through the stuff that is piled on the seat in the entrance and decide what is to be thrown and what needs to be packed up to go to Goodwill and then do it.

The St. Vincent de Paul fellas came out yesterday to pick up the couch and chair I had replaced in the living room. They also took my old vacuum cleaner with attachments and two old recliners that I'd forgotten we had in the basement. I so love clearing out.

I didn't spend much time in the art room yesterday, but did manage to make a stamp. I still feel rather inept at this, but I am enjoying the experience. It is rather Zen and surely with practice I will get better at it. Here are my practice stamps in my journal. These pages need some color and layers, but I do like my heron.

I'd like to find a good source of some kind of cling mount so I could use my acrylic block for stamping. It seems to make a better image. I've tried Hobby Lobby and Michael's with no luck. Do you have a good source for this kind of product?

I am planning to go to my conditioning class this morning. I must say, I am a bit sore from Monday's session and am looking forward to today's. Miss Z is arriving this afternoon for an overnight, so if I am to do some art, I'd better do it between conditioning class and her visit.

What are you planning for today? Does it include time for your art? If so, do share.....

Sleeping Bear Dunes and Good Harbor Bay

While running errands yesterday, I remembered to pick up my camera from my daughter's house and I have some photos to share with you.

This was taken at Sleeping Bear Dunes. I chose to stay out of the sun that day, so I am not sure if this was taken before or after the climb.

We spent each evening at Good Harbor Bay where the girls had a ball playing on the beach.

These two were happy to pose, but Little Miss M wasn't as cooperative.

Mother Nature was happy to pose and she didn't disappoint.

I was on the run nearly all day yesterday, but did get a ton of things checked off on my to do list. Today I am volunteering at the Friends of the Library Book Cellar from 11 to 3, St. Vincent de Paul is coming to pick up some furniture sometime in the afternoon and the hubster is playing tennis this evening. I am hoping to get a chance to do some art - maybe make another stamp and do a quick watercolor. I really must continue with my practice in watercolor if I am to see improvement.

What are you doing today? I am so enjoying the blogs I subscribe to, but am having trouble leaving comments. Sometimes the internet connection is so slow I lose patience, but I am continually blown away by the awesome art I see. Thank you.

A Little Art

We had a lovely vacation in the Leelanau Peninsula, but I left my camera in my daughter's car so do not have photos yet. I will be going to her house after my conditioning class and will retrieve it then. The weather was very cooperative, the food was good and easy, and the girls played lots of games and did a large puzzle together. We even had a visit from my sister-in-law and her son - a very good visit, indeed.

We got home around 4 pm on Friday and Zoë arrived at 4:30. We had her until yesterday afternoon, so needless to say I didn't get much time for art. I did get a new 2 page spread in my altered journal, though.

And last evening, I did a quick pen sketch of a scene from Google maps of Robin Hoods Bay. I found this area through someone's blog, but am unable to remember whose.

I am going to my conditioning class this morning (it's been several weeks since I've been there) and then I need to call someone about donating the living room furniture that was replaced. I also have to go to my daughter's house to pick up my camera, my cupboards are bare, I need to call the Red Cross to begin a schedule of giving blood again, and I really must get to the library. Just another typical day here in la la land.

What are you up to today? Will you have time for creativity? If so, please do share.

Art Journal Pages

It is a lovely 55º this morning and what could be finer. The weekend was a busy one as usual. We watched a bit of the Olympics - I am still in shock over the Murray drubbing of Federer. And the Tigers gave great entertainment yesterday finally winning in extra innings.

I was able to spend a bit of time in my art room and have made a couple of stamps with the Speedball Block Printing Kit and the help of the first two videos in the online class Stamp Carving 101. I didn't yet make the two that were done as examples in the class, but am having fun so far. I carved a chevron to use as an edge stamp and a bird (you know that I love birds, don't you?).

Here is a two page spread where I've used the stamps. I think I need to add something to the left hand page, although I do really like the grunginess of it.

And I had a two page spread finished just prior to carving the stamps. It is a much busier set up than I usually do, and utilizes more glued images.

We are taking DD and her two girls and the son's older girl up to the condo at Sugar Loaf for a few days this week and I am expecting to have a great time. I was planning to go to my conditioning class this morning (it's been a couple of weeks since I've been there), but DD has an appointment this morning and I will be driving to her house to stay with the girls while she is gone. Then we are going to the grocery to get some staples to take north with us. We usually try to do a lot of cooking while we are there, but this year we've decided to eat more like being on a picnic and hope it will work out for everyone. The girls would much rather have "picnic" foods and fresh fruit than big cooked meals anyway. Miss K will be staying overnight tonight; I'm not sure about the other girls.

I think I tweaked a couple of muscles moving furniture yesterday. After living with old worn (even torn a bit) furniture, we took the plunge and bought a new couch and recliner yesterday. We had to pick it up ourselves (it took two trips with the small truck we have). The hubster and I took out the old overstuffed chair and footstool and moved the existing furniture so I could do a good vacuuming. Then we brought in the two pieces of the recliner and put it together. Then my son came out with Miss K and she and I visited while the boys carried out the old couch and carried in the new one. I think I am going to really like it. Without the footstool, there is a lot more room to maneuver, but without the patterns on the furniture, the room seems more serious and plain.

I am planning to take art journals and some "not too messy" art materials with us and will try to fit in some art time. We will be taking puzzles and board games as well. If the weather cooperates there is a pool at the place and Lake Michigan is right around the corner. I'm not much of a day time beach person, but love to go to Good Harbor Bay for the sunset. My "good" camera is old and tired and no longer focuses automatically, so I will just take the point and shoot and will hope to get some good pix.

What are you up to these days? Are you being creative? Are you willing to share it with me? I'd love it if you would leave a comment so I could follow you to your blog. I know that many of you have blogs that are on my Google Reader subscription list, but I am sure there are some of you that I've somehow missed and I would love a chance to catch up with you.

Today's Art Journal Spread and WC

I was planning to go to the conditioning class this morning, but Miss D is coming out with the girls this morning and we are taking Miss P to Okemos to the dance apparel store, Bottoms Up. She begins her competitive dance experience on Saturday and is in need some new duds. I didn't go to the conditioning class on Wednesday either. I think I may not want to find out just how badly the accident was. I don't know if I mentioned that the personal trainer who runs this class had gone on a bicycle riding expedition with a couple of buddies. They were biking from Edmonton, Alberta, to Key West, Florida. While I was in Marquette with my sister, the bikers were in Alabama and were hit by a semi. One was killed, one is (was) in intensive care, and our own biker was hurt to some degree. I only got the initial report from my friend, Nancy, and haven't heard anything else. I haven't been able to find out much from newspaper reports and haven't heard anything else. I think Nancy has family in from out of town all this week and I don't want to call while she is so busy and engaged, but I will contact her by email today to see what the news is - the first reports are seldom quite right.

I just realized what the date is. If my Dad was still alive, he and Mom would be celebrating their 70th wedding anniversary today. I'll have to call Mom later as I know she will be caught up in memories.

I will have Miss P and Miss M this afternoon until 9:30 or 10:00 (or maybe overnight) while their Mom is at work. We are sure to find some time to do some art and then at 5:00 PM, the local branch of our library is having a program called Water Rockets, which I am sure they will enjoy.

Yesterday I spent a bit of time in my art journal using gesso, acrylic paint, watercolor paint, stamps, scrapbooking paper, wallpaper, and an image transfer to build a new spread.

I also added to the horizon line (it is a bit wonky - I know it should be straight) of my little watercolor and put a bit of blue into the water of the foreground. I'm thinking I should try adding a small boat of some kind on the right to balance the trees on the left. Or maybe some birds? What do you think? Am I on the right track?

I have done a bit of clean up in my art space, but it is still quite messy. I did, however, do a major clean up job in the kitchen and it looks super. I will keep trying to make my art space neater so I can find things more easily and I am finding images to try to make into stamps. I purchased the Speedball stamp cutting tools and some small and medium stamp blanks. I also picked up a couple of small erasers to see if I can make them work. They are considerably less expensive than the Speedball product.

What do you have planned for the day? Are you making time for yourself and your muse to play a bit? I look forward to seeing what you are doing? Please share.....
