I spent lots of time arting around yesterday and have all the pages for my collaborative book exchange done except to do the backs and put my info on them. As they are received I will share them here, but for now just know that I am busily creating. I also spent some time cleaning up my computer files yesterday and came across some of my favorite photoshop pix from a few years ago that I thought you might enjoy seeing. Here is one of an eagle at the Toledo Zoo that I worked on to look like he was "coming out" of the frame of the pic.
And here is a Valentine's scrapbook page I played with of two of my grandgirls where I made it look like the baby's hand was actually holding the heart.
These two are my favorite scrapbook pages of cardinals in winter outside my house just off the deck.
And here is a collage I did of my Mom from about 10 years ago. She is such a sweetie - you can tell just by looking at her.
You can see the Mackinac Bridge in the upper right and her as a young girl to the left at the bottom and next to that a picture of her, Dad, her brother and his wife and her mother with a bunch of her 14 children and on the right bottom (just after the picture of her holding up the fish she caught) is a picture of her and Dad from long ago and just above that one another of her and Dad in their younger days.
I did make another zentangle last evening that I will share with you tomorrow. Today I felt like sharing some of my past art with you. I hope you enjoyed it.
I hope to see you tomorrow.
xoxo
I enjoyed seeing your past very much! Your mom is very cute, indeed - I'm sorry I didn't get to see her while she was here! The cardinals look like a Christmas card, and girls, as always are too cute. hugs, nancy p.s. ... I sent you something today!
ReplyDeleteThey are great Vicki. I haven't figured out how to add more than one picture to Photoshop yet. I'm still trying to figure everything out. There is so much to learn.
ReplyDeleteYes, I can tell, she radiates warmth! I want to sit next to her and talk!!!
ReplyDeleteI am in Michigan, too:) Just up in Frankfort over the weekend...thought the same as you...no snow, now more snow.
ReplyDeleteI live in Grand Haven:)
Love the eagle and the cardinals are just wonderful--my favorite bird-and your little grandchildren and your mom--all great. Thanks for sharing them.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous. Gorgeous. Gorgeous.

Vicki, I love your Cardinal pictures. You're lucky to have such beauty so close. If I put a feeder out, the squirrels have a party. Your mom is beautiful. She has such authentic joy in her eyes... you can see her smile in her eyes.
ReplyDeleteI love your layouts. Digi-scrapping is my latest (art) love. The OOB eagle looks like he's going to step right into the room. The red cardinals page is just beautiful. I wouldn't have thought of doing red on red but it really works.
ReplyDeletePlease show us more ...
Wow, really great stuff, I love the cardinals! We had sun here all day, FINALLY...and now have a winter storm moving in...ugh...I am so ready for the snow to be gone! Maybe I'll get some good pics that I can play around with now that you've inspired me!
ReplyDeleteI especially love the 3D look on the two top ones. The baby also looks ready to crawl right out of the heart "frame". These are all wonderful :-)
ReplyDeleteAwesome work, Vicki- and you are so right... your mother looks like a total sweetheart! Your granddaughters are delightful, too!
