A Stowaway and Blind Contour Friday

I found a stowaway in one of my bags when I got here. It was my special bear. I was so happy to see her and now I can continue my Blind Contour Friday tradition.

It is 44º and is expected to stay about that temperature all day. It is gray again. I came here to escape the "Michigan Gray" that is prevalent in the winter. I haven't seen the sun since I've been here and I am getting impatient.

I do have wonderful digs for this month with a spectacular view and I must say the ocean is beautiful even when it is gray. I could stand an additional 10º or so though so I could walk the beach in my bare feet and maybe sit somewhere outside and sketch.

I don't know what we are going to do for amusement today, but even if I only sit around reading and working hard crossword puzzles it will still feel like vacation. I shouldn't complain considering how cold and snowy it is back home.

I can't wait to see the other Blind Contours today and am really appreciating the art I am viewing online.

  1. Hi Vicki, Wonderful to see your stowaway! She is a good model, sitting so lovingly and patiently. It's neat that you're drawing while on vacation! Thanks.

  2. Very cute expression on your blind bear.

  3. Yep, cold and snowy here ... But! The sun is shining so brightly it's blinding! The little stowaway just keeps looking better and better! Have fun, my friend. hugs, nancy

  4. Funny how these stowaways get into our luggage... did you leave your luggage unattended LOL Great contour.

  5. I haven't done any blind contour line work in years (like maybe...25 years!!). I need to give it a try. Yours are great!

  6. Dan lives in should blame him! It's his fault the skies are gray! :D Glad your bear took a ride! Nice contours!
