Terrific Tuesday

For some reason I have been thinking it is Sunday morning - don't ask because I don't know.

I didn't go to the gym today as I am quite sore from the weight training I did yesterday and the ends of my toes are still sore from the hill climbing I did on the treadmill yesterday also. We did, however, walk the beach again this morning. I put on sunscreen and walked barefooted in capris and a tee shirt. Heaven!!

We've met so many nice people here. This morning we stopped to talk to a couple who just arrived last evening. They have been coming here for a dozen years. They live in Minnesota and told us about several places we didn't know about. This is definitely the destination for northerners this time of year.

I think we may go to Michael's and some second hand shops in Pensacola today.  We are going to get some oil based  colored pencils to try adding color to the wood burned projects the hubster has been producing.

If you aren't tired of them yet, here is the sunset from last evening:

I also spent a little time this morning doing a quick sketch in my journal. I need to do more of this. It is fun to try to capture a scene in a quick 10 minutes. It should come as no surprise that I've chosen a bird.

On our walk this morning we found the fourth sand dollar (about the size of a quarter) so now we have one for each of the little ones in our girl tribe.

The hubster is starting the laundry so I'd better go pick up my things and get prepared for this wonderful day full of adventure. I love a day trip and we don't really have a set agenda, so magical things might happen. I am still waiting to see dolphins and when I do I will try to get a few pix to share.

Hope you are having a wonderful Tuesday. I talked to little Miss 3 and her Mom this morning - Gosh, I miss that child. They told me they've had lots and lots of snow, but this week it is in the 30s and 40s and it is melting like crazy.

xoxo
