I've spent most of the weekend Spring cleaning and intend to do more today. I am getting rid of many things that are taking up space that are not being used and making a trip to Goodwill. I am also trying to box up arty things so that I know where things are. I did take some time to sketch a bluebird on dark paper with colored pencils. I am quite happy with these little sketches so far and think I am going to have to come up with a way to display them together. Here is my latest:
I am going to get on with this Spring cleaning thing while I am still fired up about it. I hope to have time this afternoon to try out my latest idea for a repurposed book. I will share it with you tomorrow.

Agh! You are SO organized. I was just toying with the idea of starting my spring cleaning and now I feel like I'm already behind. You are an inspiration! Again, I love how your colored pencil bird on tinted pencil turned out. Your birds will look great together displayed in a group. Please post a photo when you get them together.
ReplyDeleteYour little bluebird looks so soft to the touch. I can tell it's watching something. Maybe, like me, it's searching for signs of spring???
ReplyDeleteVery nice bird! Good for you getting the Spring cleaning started before Spring is officially declared. I've been doing spring cleaning for months now, going at it in fits and starts. It's a good feeling to get things put away and organized. I love the end result, just don't like the "doing" part.
ReplyDeleteWell done! I agree - your birds are getting better and better! hugs, nancy
ReplyDeletePerky little guy! I wish we had bluebirds here. What fun to see them flying about! Good job Vicki!
ReplyDeleteWell done! I bet they'll look great hanging on the wall as a grouping!
ReplyDeletelove it! we're overrun by big fat robins at our house now. i think they are ready for us to get our garden planted! they certainly make a lot of noise in their chirping, but it sounds like spring is just about here!
