Once we got to the condo, though, things got better. Papa took the girls to the pool a couple of times a day and they went to the beach to watch the sunset each evening. On the last evening Uncle Herb met us at the beach with a load of wood and made a lovely bonfire.
There were a couple of nice sunsets.
I stayed at the condo with baby Zoë while the "big kids" went to the beach. |
And the girls did some art in their journals.
I'll have more to share tomorrow and hope you'll come back to see what I have to share.
xoxo
It sounds like you had a wonderful time with your family. The sunsets were gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThe journal is so cute! Beautiful pictures and beautiful kids. I sure miss the time with my family and my nephews and nieces are growing so big now during my absence... that's the only thing I don't like being so far away from home because I really want to be a good uncle and watch them grow up.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great time was had by all. lovely sunsets!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos. I really enjoy seeing kids working in a journal. I wish I had been a sketcher when my kids were small.
ReplyDeleteYes! Road trip and sitting in the back seat with my sisters. YOu have brought back a flood of memories for me. Thank you! It looks lovely and even though you need a break now that you are home I bet the memories you helped build for the girls will be cherished in years to come.
