Once we got back from the kindergarten trip, we walked for just over 3 miles and then she and I went to the local tire place to get a tire on her car patched. From there we went to Meijer to pick up some groceries and then she drove me home.
I just finished watching the Bartoli/Sharapova match - more really good women's tennis. I also saw part of the Vinci/Errani match. It, too, was a good one.
I am now in my art room and have taken a couple of pix (with my other camera) so I could share them with you.
I'm not sure what else is going to be added, but it doesn't feel done yet.
I also did my gray value study yesterday and have this to show for it.
I noticed the value studies could be read in either row order (the way in which they were produced) or in column order. |
And here is a photo of Miss Z from last week. I think she is planning to be an early reader.
I haven't decided yet whether or not I am going to the yoga class this evening. I've already put in a pretty busy away-from-home schedule and the hubster is gone to a Tiger game with his brother so I just might stay in and enjoy the quiet.
I do think Nancy and I are going to the life drawing class in the morning. It's been a long time since I've been there. And then Miss Z comes on Friday afternoon for a couple of overnights. If the weather is nice I may take her to the Harvest Festival in Rives on Saturday afternoon. I think it will be nice to get her out and break up the day a bit.
Meanwhile, I am trying to get some creative time in each day. What about you? Are you finding time for yourself? Are you willing to share?
xoxo
First day of little ones school is hard on mom it's nice that you and her walked together. If I'd known preschool was going to hit me so hard I would have made plans with my mom too.
